In the case of cleaning agents, the environmental compatibility of the ingredients and the packaging of products such as all-purpose cleaners play an essential role. The naBe criteria for cleaning agents contain corresponding requirements. For the procurement of cleaning services, it is also required, among other things, that personnel are employed who are trained in environmentally friendly cleaning.
Essential criteria for the procurement of cleaning agents and cleaning services:
- Cleaning agents used meet the criteria on ingredients and packaging of the Austrian Eco-label
- Basic course according to ÖNORM D 2040 for cleaning personnel
- The Eco-Clean database of DIE UMWELTBERATUNG supports you in your search for environmentally and health friendly detergents and cleaning products.
- When procuring cleaning services, additional points can be awarded or, in the case of direct award, companies can be used which have implemented a certified environmental management system at the start of the service.
